Nvidia unveiled new chips designed for creating and deploying artificial intelligence models during its annual GTC conference on Tuesday, CNBC reports.

CEO Jensen Huang introduced the company’s new Blackwell Ultra chip family, set to be available in the second half of this year, along with the next-generation Vera Rubin graphics processor, expected in 2026.

Nvidia’s sales have grown more than sixfold since its business transformed following OpenAI’s launch of ChatGPT in late 2022. The company’s powerful graphics processors dominate the market for advanced AI development—a process known as training.

Software developers and investors are closely watching Nvidia’s latest chips to assess whether their improved performance and efficiency will convince the company’s largest customers—cloud giants such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon—to continue investing billions of dollars into building Nvidia-powered data centers.

Nvidia shares closed down 3.43% on Tuesday amid a broader decline on Wall Street.
