Gold Futures Edge Lower in Asian Trading
Gold futures traded lower during Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for April delivery were trading at $2,996.40 per troy ounce, down 0.17% at the time of writing.
During the session, gold found support at $2,882.50 per troy ounce and resistance at $3,005.72.
The U.S. Dollar Index futures, which measure the greenback against a basket of six major currencies, rose 0.15% to 103.99.
In other commodities traded on COMEX, silver futures for May delivery gained 0.55%, reaching $34.49 per troy ounce, while copper futures for May rose 0.26% to $4.93 per pound.
