The US stock market ended Monday trading lower amid negative dynamics from the oil and gas, technology and healthcare sectors.

At the close of the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones was down 0.32%, the S&P 500 was down 0.75% and the NASDAQ Composite was down 1.04%.

The leading gainer among the components of the Dow Jones index today was Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ:WBA), which gained 1.32 points or 4.33% to close at 31.84. Merck & Company Inc (NYSE:MRK) rose 2.88 points or 3.29% to close at 90.48. Boeing Co (NYSE:BA) rose 2.11 points or 1.63% to close at 131.90.

The biggest losers were Salesforce Inc (NYSE:CRM), which shed 4.65 points or 3.09% to end the session at 145.64. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) was up 4.99 points or 2.13% to close at 229.25, while Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) was down 2.00 points (2.13%). 06%) and finished trading at 95.16.

The biggest loser was Wynn Resorts Limited (NASDAQ:WYNN), which shed 12.25% to close at 64.14. Shares of Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc (NYSE:BIO) shed 8.33% to end the session at 393.19. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd (NYSE:NCLH) fell 7.91% to 11.88.

Leading gainers among the components of the NASDAQ Composite in today’s trading were Applied DNA Sciences Inc (NASDAQ:APDN), which rose 70.97% to 2.12, Immunic Inc (NASDAQ:IMUX), which gained 56.57 % to close at 6.20 and Green Giant Inc (NASDAQ:GGE), which rose 39.26% to close at 2.27.

The biggest losers were Siyata Mobile Inc (NASDAQ:SYTA), which shed 59.33% to close at 0.12. Shares of Minim Inc (NASDAQ:MINM) shed 29.38% to end the session at 0.23. Acm Research Inc (NASDAQ:ACMR) was down 26.50% to 9.04.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the number of securities that fell in price (2031) exceeded the number of those that closed in positive territory (1053), while quotes of 120 shares remained virtually unchanged. On the NASDAQ stock exchange, 2,297 companies fell in price, 1,471 rose, and 191 remained at the level of the previous close.

Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc (NYSE:BIO) stock tumbled to a 52-week low, down 8.33% or 35.74 to close at 393.19. Shares of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) fell to a 52-week low, shedding 2.13% or 4.99 points to end at 229.25. Siyata Mobile Inc (NASDAQ:SYTA) stock tumbled to all-time lows, down 59.33% or 0.18 points to close at 0.12. Acm Research Inc (NASDAQ:ACMR) stock tumbled to a 52-week low, down 26.50% or 3.26 points to close at 9.04.

The CBOE Volatility Index, which is based on S&P 500 options trading, rose 3.48% to 32.45.

Gold futures for December delivery lost 2.01%, or 34.40, to hit $1.00 a troy ounce. In other commodities, WTI crude for November delivery fell 1.89%, or 1.75, to $90.89 a barrel. Futures for Brent crude for December delivery fell 2.08%, or 2.04, to $95.88 a barrel.

Meanwhile, in the Forex market, the EUR/USD pair was unchanged 0.40% to 0.97, while USD/JPY was up 0.27% to hit 145.73.

Futures on the USD index rose 0.36% to 113.09.
